Light and Physicality of objects.

What would happen to the physicality of objects if there was no light?

Light does not constitute matter, for this reason, if you were to close your eyes, eliminating light (or are we still perceiving light just a different, in-perceivable, form that we are not adapted?) the objects physicality remains constant. This is because when we close our eyes the world does not cease to exist until we open them, so what role does light play. Light provides perception of the objects physicality. Yet that leads to questions, such as; what role does humanity, the person, play in existence having been?

None. (The) Everything is in a constant state of growth, elasticity, expansion and collapse. That’s so anthropocentric. If we think of ourselves as obsolete in Everything then that leads us to believe,in a capitalist, consumerist society, that hence nothing matters. We can abuse Everything all we like because we are obsolete. This is damaging. Thinking of The Everything doesn’t help us in the pursuit of humanity, there is no possible way to remove a theory of EVerything from an anthropocentric position, we are human therefore we anthropocentrise. Humanity is focussed and can only ever be focussed on the human way in which we act. A human can not think as a rabbit, it can however theorise, as a human, as to what a rabbit thinks, however for eternity within The Everything, the thought of a rabbit will be infinitely unknown. Human knowledge is then as the two lines that can never, in all inifinality, never touch, the lines become infinitely close, but never join.

This is a deepstaria enigmatica, a deep-sea jellyfish that was caught by a remotely operated underwater camera about 5000 feet (1500 m) down. Wikipedia places them “in Antarctic and near-Antarctic seas” and puts their size at “approx. 60 cm” (or almost 2 feet) wide. Impressive, nature. Impressive.
